Ben helps clients understand their current and emerging regulatory risks, manage their response to a regulatory challenge, and think creatively about mitigating strategies. He has helped UK and US headquartered clients navigate regulatory investigations and reviews, with particular expertise in privacy regulation and the overlap between privacy and competition policy.
Now based in Fingleton’s Australian office, Ben’s advice extends to clients operating or headquartered in Australia. Working with the UK team, he draws on UK and European regulatory developments to shed light on Australia’s regulatory present, and future.
Prior to joining Fingleton, Ben was a barrister specialising in data, privacy and information law. Over a 15-year legal career at the London bar he acted for and against a large range of UK regulators and government departments.
Ben joined Fingleton in 2017 as a Director.
