Carlo works with clients facing regulatory investigations to ensure they have confidence in their approach and are prepared for challenging questions likely to be raised by decision-makers. His extensive expertise includes merger advice (pre-deal advice and Phase 1 / 2 competition investigations) and market reviews. Carlo provides thoughtful and innovative advice with a view to protecting long-term value.
Before joining Fingleton, Carlo was a competition lawyer at Freshfields and Allen & Overy. He divided his time between London and Brussels, advising on engagement with both the UK and European competition authorities.
Carlo holds an MSc. in Law and Finance (Merit) from the University of Oxford and a post-graduate diploma in the economics of competition law (Merit) from Kings College, London. He has also completed post-graduate studies in industrial organisation and core econometrics.
Carlo joined Fingleton in 2021 as a Principal.
