Chris helps businesses navigate complex competition and regulatory challenges. He draws on a wealth of experience in how regulators think and make decisions in UK merger control and economic regulation.

Until September 2023, Chris was working at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) across a range of complex merger investigations in sectors including utilities, aviation and technology. His roles at the CMA included Head of Mergers Intelligence. Prior to the CMA, Chris worked at Ofwat, the UK water regulator, where he helped develop price review methodology and led analysis of the business retail market.

He holds an MSc in Industrial Economics from the University of East Anglia.
