David is an EU, competition and trade lawyer with 20 years’ experience of working on complex legal and economic matters in international law firms, in competition law authorities and in business.

David began his career as a legal adviser on EU law matters at the Confederation of British Industry. He then worked as an official in the UK Office of Fair Trading and in the European Commission (DG Competition) before moving into private practice with Allen & Overy in Brussels.

David is a consultant based in Brussels and London and regularly advises clients involved in high profile competition law and trade law proceedings. He also has extensive experience of actively engaging with the European Commission and national authorities on proposed legislation and policy matters.
